What happens if I perform more verifications than my monthly plan allows?

Some subscriptions feature email verifications and come with a set number of verifications that may be performed each month.  Nonetheless, you may be wondering what happens when you perform more verifications than your subscription allocates during a given month.

The pricing in the tables below describes the costs by subscription for any excess verifications (or overages, to use a different term) performed during a given month.  Each US Dollar ($) amount is the cost per 100 verifications sent based on your verification volume tier, i.e. how many verifications your account has performed so far during the month.

Special Note: Your Mailgun Control Panel on the Billing and Upgrade pages are the final source of all pricing details and overages for your particular account. As such, please review the plan details, including overages, within your Control Panel.

Additional verification charges will be automatically billed when your plan renews. If, however, you upgrade your plan to cover the excess verifications before the end of the billing cycle, those additional verifications performed will not be billed, but will be deducted from your newly updated subscription's verification allocation.

Extra usage cannot be deactivated. We strongly advise you to keep an eye on your volume of performed verifications to avoid any unwanted extra charges. You can monitor your usage from your account dashboard.
