Overview

In this article, we'll cover navigation inside the Mailgun Control Panel.

The first section will demonstrate where to find account settings and to locate all of the features we have to offer. The second section, ordered by feature, provides a simplified navigation path for reference.

General navigation

Sidebar navigation - Welcome Guide

The navigation is organized as follows:

• Welcome Guide: Home of various short getting started tutorials to facilitate a quick but robust setup with Sinch Mailgun's services.

Sidebar navigation - Dashboard

The navigation is organized as follows:

• Dashboard: The Dashboard is a quick way to return to the main dashboard of the account.

The navigation is organized as follows:

• Reporting: The Reporting section is the most comprehensive analysis of your accounts sending statistics within the Control Panel. It has most of the features seen in the Domain overview and Analytics sections of the Control Panel; it also has much more capabilities than either of those two sections.
• Sending: Within the Sending section there is a nesting tree for your domains, dedicated IPs, and your mailing lists.
  • Need to add a domain, troubleshoot sending issues, or review performance? Head to Domains and/or Overview. 
  • Once you select a specific domain, you’ll notice familiar tools like Logs, Analytics, Webhooks, and more. 
  • Need to create or view an email template?  Templates is the right choice!
  • Wondering which email addresses are on your Bounces, Complaints, and Unsubscribes lists? Check out Suppressions.
  • Wondering which stage of IP warm-up your new dedicated IP is on? Check your status in IPs.
  • Managing your email lists? Find all of them under Mailing Lists. 
  • Domain settings contains advanced configuration settings for your domain such as DNS and tracking configuration.
• Receiving: The Receiving section displays all of your current routes, separating them by the US and EU regions. From here, you can also send a sample POST to receive a sample webhook, fully parsed as an HTTP POST.

Sidebar navigation - Mailgun Optimize

The navigation is organized as follows:

• Inbox Placement: The Inbox Placement section allows you to create seed lists - email addresses/mailboxes - with numerous mailbox providers so that, when the seed list is included as a recipient in one of your campaigns, you can analyze how that campaign performed with each mailbox provider.
• Email Preview: The Email Preview section allows you to preview your messages in dozens of email clients (web, mobile, email client, email app) so that you can curate the look and feel of the message prior to sending it. 
• Blocklist Monitoring: The Blocklist Monitoring section tracks your IP and domain reputation with all of the major blocklisting providers.
• Spam Trap Monitoring: The Spam Trap Monitoring section tracks your IP reputation with various spam trap networks.
• Bounce Classification: The Bounce Classification section provides a focused view of various types of bounces for configured domains.
• Google Postmaster: The Google Postmaster section collects critical delivery information from Google's email network.
• Microsoft SNDS: The Microsoft SNDS section collects critical delivery information from Microsoft's email network.

Sidebar navigation - Mailgun Validate

The navigation is organized as follows:

• Validations: The Validations service can assist not only with detecting invalid email addresses but also with reducing your bounce rate and improving your delivery.

Account navigation

Located at the top-right of our UI, this dropdown navigation is organized as follows:

• The very top displays how many emails the account has sent this month during the invoicing period, the account's current plan(s), and a link to upgrade the account's plan.
• Manage my Sinch ID: Manage your Sinch SSO Login details, which allow access to all integrated Sinch products and services.
• Manage Account: This is where you will find all account details like your account settings, general billing info, user details, and account cancellation.
• Plan & Billing: This section houses your invoices, usage stats for each billing cycle, payment history, and payment information. 
• Users: Here you will find options to add users, modify roles and MFA, and see user sessions. 
• API Security: This option provides the ability to view and reset various account API keys.
• IP Access Management: This will allow you to safelist particular IPs for both API/SMTP access and usage.
• Subaccounts: Accounts on certain plan types can add additional accounts linked to their primary account to manage on behalf of their customers or clients.
• Dedicated IPs: Allows you to quickly view and configure the dedicated IPs (if any) on the account.
• IP Pools: This is where you can review any current IP Pools as well as create a new IP Pool. 
• IP Monitoring: Shortcut to our IP Monitoring feature, a subset of Blocklist Monitoring.
• Domain Monitoring: Shortcut to our Domain Monitoring feature, a subset of Blocklist Monitoring feature.
• Welcome Guide: Home of various short getting started tutorials to facilitate a quick but robust setup with Sinch Mailgun's services.
• Support: Houses your ticket history as well as all the different ways you can contact Sinch Mailgun for your support needs. You can also access resources like the Help Center and documentation from this option.
