Overview (Original Method)
If a dedicated IP has been allocated to your account, how do you assign it to your domain(s)? We'll show you how to do this below:
- First, log in to the Mailgun Control Panel (if you have not already done so).
- Then, at the top-right corner of the page, click the Profile drop-down menu to expand its list of options.
- Next, click the Dedicated IPs option. Alternatively, you can use this direct link.
- After that, click the dedicated IP you wish to assign.
- Now, click the Assign to other domains button.
- In the pop-up modal, either select one or more domains from the dropdown box or select the All Domains toggle.
- Click the Apply button, which assigns the dedicated IP to the domain(s).

Overview (New Method)
To send emails using a dedicated IP, it must be linked to your sending entities. For now, using this new method, you can link a dedicated IP to your sending domain(s) on the primary account.
Linking a Dedicated IP (New Method)
If your IP is unlinked or has no pool constraints, follow these steps to link it:
- First, log in to the Mailgun Control Panel (if you have not already done so).
- Then, at the top-right corner of the page, click the Profile drop-down menu to expand its list of options.
- Next, click the Dedicated IPs (New) option
- Click the IP address from the main table to open its IP Details page.
- Click the Link IP dropdown menu in the top-right corner.
- Select the domain(s) and then click Link IP to domains.
- Confirm your changes in the pop-up dialog box to apply.
Unlinking a Dedicated IP (New Method)
To remove assignments or free up an IP for other sending needs:
- First, log in to the Mailgun Control Panel (if you have not already done so).
- Then, at the top-right corner of the page, click the Profile drop-down menu to expand its list of options.
- Next, click the Dedicated IPs (New) option
- Navigate to the IP Details page of the target IP.
- Check the selection box next to the domain(s) you want to unlink.
- Click the Unlink selected [Entities] button located directly above the respective table.
- In the confirmation modal, review the affected target entities and click Unlink to finalize.
