Changing an account user's role and permissions

Article Preview

    Overview

Role-based access control sets all current users to Admin by default. In order to change roles, there must be at least two users on the account. In order to designate different roles on your account, there must be more than one user.

Changing an account user's role and permissions

We'll show you how to do this below:

    1. First, log in to the Mailgun Control Panel (if you have not already done so).
    2. Then, at the top-right corner of the page, click the Profile drop-down menu to expand its list of options.
    3. Next, click the Security option. Alternatively, you can use this direct link
    4. Click the Name (i.e. Control Panel Login) of the user for which you are seeking to adjust the role.
    5. In the Role section, click the Switch button to select the user's new role.

As a note, only a current Admin-level user on the account can perform the adjustment of role-based access permissions.
