Overview
Some subscriptions feature email validations and come with a set number of validations that may be performed each month. Nonetheless, you may be wondering what happens when you perform more validations than your subscription allocates during a given month.
The pricing in the tables below describes the costs by subscription for any excess validations (or overages, to use a different term) performed during a given month. Each US Dollar ($) amount is the cost per 100 validations sent based on your validation volume tier, i.e. how many validations your account has performed so far during the month.

Important Note:
Your Mailgun Control Panel on the Billing and Upgrade pages are the final source of all pricing details and overages for your particular account. As such, please review the plan details, including overages, within your Control Panel.
Additional validation charges will be automatically billed when your plan renews. If, however, you upgrade your plan to cover the excess validations before the end of the billing cycle, those additional validations performed will not be billed, but will be deducted from your newly updated subscription's validations allocation.
Extra usage cannot be deactivated. We strongly advise you to keep an eye on your volume of performed validations to avoid any unwanted extra charges. You can monitor your usage from your account dashboard.
